we love. we share. we give.
What to expect
From the moment you arrive at Chalice, you can expect to be greeted by the
friendliest faces in town! People who genuinely care about you. Authentic smiles
and a warm welcome are just the precursor to the lifechanging experience you’ll
soon encounter in the manifest Presence of God!
Our Statutes
1. We are fundamental Christians in love with Jesus.
2. We believe in the power of the Cross to save.
3. We hold the Bible to be the unfailing Word of God.
4. We place the education of our children at the top of our priority list.
5. Our pastoral staff preach from the Word of God. You can expect to hear
encouraging, yet uncompromising and convicting messages every week.
6. We hold to the high moral standards of the Bible, while understanding that
we all fall short of God’s Holiness. The result of preaching the absolute
truths of scripture when coupled with His love and Grace, are the keys to the
freedom that believers in Jesus have come to know.
7. Simply put: We love. We share. We give.
More Details
After being introduce to our Welcome Center who can offer directions and answer
questions, make your way to the coffee shop for a free cup. You’ll also find
breakfast foods offered at a nominal cost.
If you have small children ages 6-11, they’ll be met by one of our children’s
ministry team leaders, checked in for security purposes, and escorted to our
“Team Jesus” children’s church, located on the second floor. If your child is
nursery age (o-3), or (4-5), you can check them in at the nursery where the most
excellent care will be provided along with a lesson uniquely designed just for kids.
You’ll likely find a few things different at Chalice that you’ll appreciate during
your first visit.
The Bell: Our motto: “Come to the Table” says it best. At 5 minutes until
time for worship to begin and again on the hour @ 10AM, we’ll ring a bell
to call the family to worship. It’s just a unique reminder of the fact that
we’re more than a stale religious organization, we are a loving family and
we thrive in community together.
Enthusiastic Worship services! Our Praise and Worship Team lead us into
the Presence of God in High Praise! We enjoy worshiping our Lord with the
sounds David spoke of in the Psalms; musical instruments, songs of praise,
and even dancing at times. Our people love loving God and we are open to
whatever His Spirit desires from us. The gifts of the Spirit are also welcome
and time is given for outward expressions of joy.
Creative Expression: Another facet of our worship that you may enjoy is
our artistic expression of worship toward the Creator. Everything from
emotionally moving songs with prophetic musical instrumentation, to real-
time artists painting under the inspiration of the Spirit. Our dance team may
have a presentation of worship or you might see children with flags and
banners being waved to the Glory of God!
Communion: You’ll also note during an intimate time of praise and
worship, our people sporadically making their way to candle lit tables
located nearby. These tables have been prepared with elements for receiving
Holy Communion and are available to all believers at will.
Prayer: Simultaneously, at the front of the auditorium, caring couples and
singles are available to pray with you concerning your needs. Everything
from physical healing to salvation, relational crises to financial disparity,
grief and broken-heartedness, and any other real-life issue you may be
facing. Our prayer team are faith-filled and anointed to assist you in your
reach for God!
No passing plates: And finally, you may notice that we do not typically pass
an offering plate. There is a Giving Center located at the back of the
auditorium where our people freely give their tithes and offerings. On
occasion however, we may pass a plate when receiving special offerings for
someone’s personal need, community benevolence, or local and foreign
missions.
(2 Cor. 9:17) Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or
under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
